Last week was a big week for us here at Cora Boutique!

First, our new Buffalo Plaid Shirt Dress was featured in the ultra-hip NYLON magazine’s online “NYLON MALL.”  NYLON is one of our favorite magazines here at Cora Boutique so we’re thrilled to have been noticed by the ultimate trendsetters themselves!

Last week also brought the debut of the Indy Week fashion article in which Cora Boutique was featured.  We had a great time working with the folks at Indy Week and are so excited to see fashion recognized in the Triangle area!

• Independent Weekly Photoshoot We’re excited to announce that we’ve been selected to be featured in the Independent Weekly’s annual fashion issue!  As a brand new boutique in the Triangle we’re honored to be recognized along with 3 other boutiques in our area. The photoshoot for the issue took place a couple days ago and we had a great time working with everyone!  If you live in the Triangle area you should pick up a copy of the issue.  We’ll let you know when our issue will debut as soon as we get the word!

Here’s our photographer shooting a model in one of our new tops (available for purchase soon!) with our Black Liquid Zipper Leggings, $24.50.  This shot was taken in the Free Expression Graffiti Tunnel on NC State’s campus which I must say was a pretty cool spot and an amazing background for the photoshoot.  Apparently students are allowed to use this tunnel to graffiti to their hearts desire–and some we’re taking advantage of this opportunity during the shoot! Luckily we left with no spray paint damage to the clothing and got some exciting shots

Here’s another model in our gorgeous new Ivory Rosette Dress (available for purchase soon!) posing the steps on NC State’s campus.

The theme of the photospread will be a play on the old rule “no white after labor day”.  The photographer also said they hope to tie in a play on race and voting since it’s election year, so I’m interested to see how it will turn out!

I’ve had my eye on this Urban Outfitters Kimichi Blue Cutout Bubble Top for a while now.  It comes in Teal and Mahogany and looks like the perfect top for fall–but the price tag of $48.00 quickly quelled my desire.  So you can imagine how excited I am that we now have this style available at Cora Boutique for much, much less!

We all know this picture:  We’re ready to leave the house and all we have left to do is transfer the necessities from our handbag to the cute clutch we want to carry.  But–it doesn’t fit.  I’m forced to take just the keys I’ll need off my keyring and take only my ID and a credit card and leave the rest of my wallet behind.  Don’t even think about getting a camera to fit… believe me, I’ve tried.
